After Alnick Castle, we drove to Holy Island, where we walked out to the castle, then visited the ruins and listened to some choirs perform.

After Holy Island, it was on to Bamburgh, where we hiked down to the North Sea seashore, then had dinner and headed back to Scott and Cami's house.

Monday, Day 3, Cami took us into Durham where we visited Durham Cathedral and took an hour-long cruise down the River Wear. We followed the cruise with a great lunch of fish and chips.

Tuesday - Day 5 - and we're off to Edinburgh. The girls visited another castle while Scott and I wondered the streets. We had time to hit a few pubs before catching the train back to England.

Wednesday - Day 6 - we flew to Dublin for a tour of the Guinness factory and an evening in the Temple Bar pubs. We spent the night in Dublin and flew back to England early Thursday.
