Big Tree Trail, El Yunque

My job took me to Puerto Rico last week. Since I couldn't get a flight back to Atlanta until Saturday anyway, I decided to stay an extra day and visit El Yunque, officially known as the Caribbean National Forest.

I only had time to walk one trail, so I chose Big Tree Trail, which leads through a tabonuco forest to La Mina Falls. Along the way, I saw this beautiful tree spreading a large canopy over a section of the rainforest.
